Mrs. Blacquiere and Mrs. Sikman It’s hard to believe May is here and the musical is over! We would like to congratulate everyone for the exceptional singing in our school production of “Peter Pan”, it was a lot of work but it paid off! This month the students will be exploring a variety of topics. Our students will be going on nature walks, exploring flowers and seeds in Botany, rocks and minerals in geography, exploring the needs of humans in history, and completing various projects. It’s going to be an exciting month! Our Mother’s Day celebration will take place on Friday, May 11th at 10:00. The children look forward to showing you how special you are to them. The children are invited to dress up for this occasion. Canadian Testing of Basic Skills (CTBS) will be happening in May for grades 2-4. More information will be sent home about this. Camp is right around the corner as well! The grade three and four students will be travelling to Circle Square Ranch and will be there from Tuesday, June 5th – Thursday, June 7th. The grade one and two students will spend Wednesday, June 6th at Camp Wetaskiwin. The grade twos will then sleep over at school and travel to Balls Falls on Thursday, June 8th for more outdoor fun. Such Fun times ahead of us!! We LOVE May!
