Mrs. Kovacs Casa Pod ll As we welcome December, we have been very busy exploring the various winter celebrations through story and song. Before the winter holidays begin, parents and family members are welcome to join us for our holiday concert on December 22nd. The children have been practicing since November and are so proud to show off their singing voices. Just a reminder that December 22nd will be a half day dismissal and there will be NO extended hours care. All students must be picked up at their classroom at 11:45 a.m., immediately following the holiday concert. January brings us new beginnings in Pod Two! We will be focusing on Canada. This will include exploring the provinces, the Canadian Flag, and the map of Canada. Along with various stories and songs about our home and native land, we will be supporting the curriculum with some art exercises. This is sure to be a fun January. With the cold temperatures upon us, please continue to send warm clothing with your child. All clothing should be labelled and an extra pair of mittens should be added to the clothing bag. Thanks!
