Mme Zegers For a $2 donation, students can come to school wearing casual clothing instead of school uniform on designated Grub Days. Grub Days are usually held on a monthly basis and money collected supports local or international charitable organizations. Grub Days are voluntary—students may choose to come in their school uniform. This focus on local and international charities helps students understand that there are people who need our assistance in our own cities as well as around the world. Whole-school fundraising allows students to be part of a cohesive group as they share in the responsibility of caring for those who are less fortunate. Upcoming Grub Days October 5 Grub Day- Please bring a $2 donation for Community Care November 24 Grub Day- Please bring a non-perishable food item for Community Care December 15 Grub Day for Community Care: Casa and Lower Elementary: Please bring a new, unwrapped toy for a toddler-aged child. Upper Elementary: Please bring a $10 gift certificate for a teenager. (Suggestions include coffee shops and fast-food restaurants)
