\r\n\r\nby Michael Kovacs\r\n\r\nGrade 4\r\nAfter a rollercoaster of weather in September, we look forward to more stable, predictable forecasts in October. With the leaves turning colour, then falling, the grade four class will take the opportunity to study Canada. The focus for the next two months in our Culture section will be The Biomes of Canada.\r\nFrom the Cordillera in Western Canada to the Maritimes in the East, Canada is such a diverse country. Through in-depth research, students will see Canada through a different lens. They will come to appreciate each region's unique physical characteristics and how that impacts on their residents.\r\n\r\nThere will also be a component that focuses on hands-on activities and experiments meant to complement the lessons. These extensions will be posted on our Google Classroom and you can expect to receive a weekly digest version to your e-mail address. Please let me know if you have any difficulties.
