Mrs. Elia and Mrs. Lubin We are looking forward to our two skating dates coming up on February 2nd and February 9th. Thank you to all of the parents who have signed up to drive and join us! Our Grade 1-3 students are busily discovering the wonders of poetry by Shel Silverstein. Our grade threes have created beautiful Winter Poetry through figurative language. We have all been learning about Roman Numerals and Measurement. Our Grade 2 students have leapt into our study of Great Books. In our Culture area, the Grade 2 and 3 students will learn about the Laws of the Earth and Composition of the Earth respectively. The Grade 1 students will be learning about the History of Writing. Although the Science Fair does not take place until April 11, we are getting ready now for those exciting projects. Your packets will be coming home soon. Please speak with us if you have any questions. We have many resources available if you need them. We are welcoming the longer days and ready to welcome a brand new season, when we return from March Break. Please remember to have your child(ren) come to school with appropriate outdoor clothing. We would like to wish you a loving Family Day and Happy March Break together with your Families!
