Mrs. Nagy We had a great deal of fun watching for each new sign of spring as the weather warmed up. Skunks finished hibernating just after Valentine's day, then came the snow drops, the sunshine, and the wait for the first returning robin. Spring came officially during March break and we can see new life blossoming all around us. Bees are out of their hives and are flying in the warm sunshine, as are many other bugs. For the month of April we will be making a study of insects, their variety, body parts and habits. We hope to do many interesting projects, stories and art. Some dates to keep in mind for April and May. April 20th is our Earth Day celebration. Further information will be provided at a later date. May 11 is our traditional Mother's Day celebration. Both 11:00 am and 3:00 pm times will be available . May 30 is grandparents day and art show.
